The College of ICT and Engineering of Western Leyte College of Ormoc City, Inc. proudly celebrates a significant milestone as its pioneering student delegates officially begin their International Immersion Program, marking the institution’s first international academic engagement of its kind.

As they depart for Southeast Asia, these student representatives carry not only their aspirations but also the pride and excellence of Western Leyte College and the Philippines. Their journey will take them to Da Nang, Vietnam, through the institution’s partnership with The University of Danang – Software Development Centre, where they will engage in academic exchanges, explore emerging technologies, and gain valuable insights into global industry practices.

The immersion experience will further extend to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Bangkok, Thailand, providing opportunities for cultural appreciation, professional growth, and exposure to diverse educational environments. Through this initiative, students will strengthen their global perspectives, expand their knowledge beyond the classroom, and develop competencies essential for success in an increasingly interconnected world.
