Western Leyte College of Ormoc, Inc. formally received the government permit to offer the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management on February 20, 2026, during a ceremony held at the WLC Gym.
The permit was awarded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), led by Regional Director Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe, Ph.D., DPM, CESO III, who emphasized the importance of maintaining quality standards and institutional readiness in higher education.
This development marks a significant milestone for the institution, further expanding its academic offerings and strengthening its commitment to delivering quality and relevant education to students in the region.
