Western Leyte College of Ormoc City, Inc. proudly celebrates another milestone of excellence as PUNDOK KASADPAN emerged as the 1st Runner-Up in the Piña Festival 2026 Grand Showdown, once again proving the institution’s commitment to cultural excellence, artistic innovation, and outstanding performance.
With months of preparation, dedication, and teamwork, PUNDOK KASADPAN captivated audiences and judges alike through a vibrant presentation that showcased the richness of Ormoc’s culture, the beauty of the Piña Festival, and the exceptional talents of the WLC community. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and passion of every individual who contributed to the contingent’s success.
Adding to this momentous victory, Sherlyn Rosie Holmes was crowned Piña Festival Queen 2026, securing a historic back-to-back-to-back championship title for Western Leyte College following its Festival Queen victories in 2024 and 2025. Her grace, confidence, intelligence, and outstanding representation of WLC continue to inspire pride throughout the institution and the wider community.
