MISSION

Western Leyte College of Ormoc City commits itself to provide quality education for the masses as its avowed mission anchored on the trinity of virtues – Wisdom, Leadership and Commitment.

In consonance with the above values and the goals of the K to 12 curriculum, WLC considers its mission to be as follows:

  • Guiding students develop their innate and God-given talents and capabilities for personal and societal benefit
  • Inculcating quality leadership to become readily prepared for societal challenges as they awaken character and build integrity
  • Offering programs and trainings responsive to the needs of the person, community, country and humanity in the 21st century
  • Integrating in its curriculum, programs that train a student to be compassionately sensitive and responsive in service to the needs of his fellowmen
  • Producing graduates, equipped with the competencies and skills for higher education or employment, who can readily adapt and easily respond to a rapidly-changing and increasingly globalized industrial, technological and multicultural environment
